Quip Shed Comedy is ecstatic to be back in Wendover this June for the Big Summer Outdoor Comedy Show on Thursday 25th June! A cracking line-up of comedy stars featuring Michael Shafar, Rich Wilson, Headliner TV's Esther Manito and MC Lyle Barke!

Originally from Melbourne, Michael Shafar is now based in London where he has quickly become one of the most exciting new acts on the UK comedy circuit.

He has amassed 150,000+ followers and 100+ million views online. His debut special A(LIVE) is on Amazon Prime and his most recent special Alright, Next Joke is on YouTube.

“Shafar circumnavigates the line between edgy and offensive with beautiful finesse” ★★★★½ The Age

“He’s a brand of comedian that is getting rarer and rarer to come by these days, and if you’re among those who fear comedy has gotten too politically correct, Shafar will put those fears to rest.” ★★★★ TimeOut

“Shafar has a disarmingly relaxed approach and an intelligent sense of humour with a wildly inventive, darkly comic imagination.” ★★★★★ The Edinburgh Reporter

“Shafar drives across taboos like a combine harvester through comedy corn… His is equal opportunity Sacred Cow slaughter… there is enough here to upset half of Edinburgh and the fresh ideas just keep hitting us.” The Scotsman

There were three comedians and the third did elicit laughs from myself and other around me. By then most had a few drinks in them. The second I felt sorry for. The content did not work and she herself is too "ordinary". This sounds cruel. the first person had some good lyrics to her songs. I felt the compere over relied on the the first row of the audience and with each successive break came up with similar commentary. I go to comedy nights 4-5 times a year and will continue to do so. I am a glass half full kind of person.
