You can find The Green Room nestled away on South Bank toting a gorgeous alfresco terrace and rustic interiors, such as a bare-brick bar and shiny, bronze tables. It boasts a timber-framed pavilion designed by Benjamin Barfield Marks and a delicious all-day dining menu. Head here with your four-legged friend to tuck into sharing plates filled with calamari and breaded whitebait, margherita pizzas, and sizzling jerk chicken skewers. 

Located in the heart of Shoreditch on Macclesfield Road, NHow London is a dog-friendly venue worth visiting. Head inside with your pooch, where you'll be able to treat your furry friend to a Pawesome Afternoon Tea. In collaboration with Pooch & Mutt, this £25 menu features dog-friendly cupcakes, frozen peanut butter bites, calming dog treats and a puppuccino. And if you're hungry too? Get ready to delve into truffle arancini, salmon or wild mushroom risotto.

Rotunda is a gorgeous waterside restaurant that absolutely adores dogs, inviting them to join you in their bar and on their canalside terrace, whether you fancy stopping by for brunch, lunch or dinner. Their menus use ingredients sourced from their own Corneyside Farm in Northumberland, ensuring high-quality produce throughout dishes like juicy steaks, lamb burgers and vibrant salads. Your puppy pal will even be treated to complimentary biscuits so they don't get jealous of your feast.

Lazy lunches, sprawling pub garden, seasonal plates and chin-dribbling burgers - The Devonshire has long been Balham's go-to for socialising.

But it's also quietly become one of the area's best dog-friendly restaurants. Why? Because they don't just tolerate dogs - they cater to them. Enter the £5 doggie roast: a wholesome chicken dinner complete with carrots, cabbage and low-salt gravy. Whether you're popping in after a walk or planning a full Sunday feast, this urban local makes sure nobody, paws included, feels left out.

Get on down to one of 28-50 Wine Bars' locations in Chelsea, Oxford Circus or Marylebone to enjoy a fabulous dining experience. Of course, their restaurants are dog friendly (as long as your puppy pal is kept on a lead), so you can not only soak up the elegant interiors of these hotspots, but also dig into stunning fare. Think European dishes made with local, seasonal produce, like lamb shoulder with parsnip puree ot kale and lamb jus, with a sommelier at hand to ensure you have the perfect wine pairing.

Who said you can't bring your doggo out with you to eat? Not Market Place. At this neon jungle-style food hall in Vauxhall, which showcases hanging foliage, pendant lanterns and stylish warm lighting, to grab food from a range of independent street food vendors. Whether you fancy tacos, Japanese food, kebabs, burgers or anything else, you'll be able to tuck in with your furry friend by your side.

They're also running a limited offer for National Pet Day, where your pooches can enjoy a dog Guinness - made with bone broth and whipped cream. These are free on the 11th April, and free with a pint of human Guinness on the 12th and 13th.

Thanks to a lineup featuring over 40 of the city's best independent food traders, it seems like Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant and Castle and Mayfair can do just about anything; pizza, steak, noodles, curries, macarons, Champagne and espressos don't even begin to cover it. This family-friendly spot blends a chic aesthetic with a welcoming atmosphere, boasting a huge menu of crowd pleasers from curries and mezze sharing boards to small plates and burgers. Vendors include the likes of Whipped, which conjures up Instagram-worthy cheesecakes, Northern Thai street food brand Krapow, and Eggslut. 

Bluebird Chelsea is a sanctuary from the buzzing vibe of the King's Road, offering pooches and their owners somewhere to relax after a busy day of shopping. Not only is this restaurant dog-friendly, with pups allowed in the courtyard, bar and lounge, but they also go the extra mile by making sure pups get plenty of treats and cuddles. When it comes to the human menu, you can expect beautifully prepared, internationally inspired dishes from breakfast 'til dinner, including seared tuna sashimi and delica pumpkin tortellini in a Thai pumpkin velouté.

Why leave your pooch at home when you can head to The Refinery Bankside? Located in the landmark Blue Fin Building, this dog-friendly joint has an awesome garden space that's perfect for sunshine sipping, although dogs big and small are also welcome in the restaurant too, with treats and water bowls available to make sure they feel at home. For humans, you can expect classic weekend brunch dishes, as well as burgers, sandwiches and, our personal favourite, the burrata and truffle tortellini.

Art Yard Bar and Kitchen is found inside Southbank's gorgeous Bankside Hotel, decked out in trendy furnishings and filled with colourful pieces of art. Their all-day menus cater for everyone, whether you're after tasty brunch dishes with coffee or dinner and cocktails. Tuck into the likes of butternut squash ravioli, onglet steak and pan-fried bream fillet, all with your pooch at your side.

A secret spot in the heart of Fulham, The Little Blue Door doesn't just pride itself on its hospitality for humans, they're also a dab hand when it comes to dog-friendly brunches in London. Get cosy in their flat-inspired dining space and enjoy classic breakfast dishes (think poached eggs with avocado and bacon, as well as fried chicken and maple butter pancakes) with your best friend. You can also find its sister site in Notting Hill - The Little Yellow Door.

Instead of sitting there worrying about your dog being home alone, take them to Mowgli Charlotte St, a fantastic dog-friendly Indian restaurant in London. Located in Fitzrovia, this beaut space is a real treat for the eyes, thanks to winding indoor trees covered in fairy lights and hanging birdcages. As for food? There's plenty to please all, even those who are gluten-free or vegan. Our favourite dish has to be the house chicken curry with flavours from Kerala.

Megan's restaurants found across the capital, from Dulwich to Chiswick and Kensington, are famously dog-friendly. Treat your pooch to a lovely day out, with a long walk in one of the nearby parks, before refuelling at one of these gorgeous locations where they even have cute branded dog beds for your pup to cuddle up in. Get stuck into juicy kebabs hot off the grill, veg-backed bowls or a marvellous mezze feast, washed down with a cocktail or two.

This Australian-inspired restaurant group specialises in all things brunch, boasting locations all over the city. From Glamarama Green in Kensington to Soho's Scarlett Green or Timmy Green in Victoria, there's bound to be a venue close to you.

Before 5pm, all of their outposts except for Larry's are dog-friendly, with areas of the restaurants dedicated to dining with dogs. Tuck into the likes of blueberry buttermilk pancakes, chicken parmigiana or tandoori salmon at these all-day destinations, while your pup relaxes indoors or out.

One of King's Cross' most popular pup-friendly places is of course Drake And Morgan. Located on Pancras Square, this stylish space is home to totally chic interiors, not to mention a sprawling outdoor terrace too. While your dog has a kip by your feet, get to know this restaurant's fantastic menu, whether you fancy sharing plates and cocktails or going in with large plates like wagyu beef sausages with mash or a Malaysian curry.

The Last Talisman is a restaurant that's suitable for all, including your dog. You don't have to worry about leaving your bundle of cuteness at home when stepping into this authentic Asian grill. Decorated with ruby red lanterns and exposed brick walls, the Bermondsey spot offers an elegant dining space to wolf down the likes of Korean fried chicken, tuna tataki and salmon teriyaki. 

This beautiful Grade II-listed building is set over four floors and can be found in the heart of Victoria. The Orange Public House & Hotel used to be a brewery but is now a stunning venue serving award-winning gastropub food in a setting that's filled with bronzed furnishings and leafy plants. It welcomes dogs with open arms and allows you to enjoy a menu made with sustainable produce while your furry companion relaxes. Tuck into the likes of hispi cabbage, rigatoni with cavolo nero and more. 

If your pooch enjoys the finer things in life, be sure to take them with you to visit the 5-star Egerton House Hotel in Knightsbridge. This swish dog-friendly restaurant and bar will happily treat your fur baby to a doggy afternoon tea (available on Thursdays and Sundays). For just £30, your four-legged friend will gobble down chicken liver and beef meatloaf, peanut butter biscuits and a carrot cupcake, washed down with a cute 'dog-tini'.

As for humans? A sensational traditional afternoon tea is on the cards, featuring freshly baked scones alongside seasonal sandwiches and sweet treats - the coffee and walnut cake is divine.

Created by couple Jake and Ruby, The Street is a unique bar and restaurant that couldn't bear it if you left your dog at home, so? Bring them with you to this spot on Exmouth Market. Settle into the foliage-filled interior or grab a streetside table to munch on a pulled jerk chicken salad, soft shell crab tacos or a signature burger, such as the You're Bacon By Heart. Oh, and did we mention these guys are also a dab hand at shaking up cocktails? Don't sleep on the Melon Dollar Baby, made with tequila, watermelon and agave (served frozen, of course).

People know all too well how dog-friendly Clapham Common is (think boundless walkies across the turf), but it's Minnow that promises diners with dogs a top-notch experience. Head on down to this pretty restaurant overlooking the common to dig into modern European plates from morning 'til night – favourites include moules mariniere or bavette steak, paired with happy hour cocktails, of course.

If your dog needs somewhere for a little sip of water then The Thomas Cubitt in Belgravia is the spot for you. It's a local institution that offers an array of beautifully decorated private and communal dining spaces where you can indulge in seasonal food. Bag oysters here for £4.50 a pop, as well as steak and chips from £25 for a bavette, all washed down with a fresh pint. 

This Chelsea hotspot isn't just a treat for humans, it's a haven for four-legged foodies too. In honour of Chelsea Dog Day, Amélie rolls out an exclusive dog menu, featuring mains like steak tartare, salmon with broccoli and carrot, and a Provençal bowl brimming with rice, courgette, carrot, peas, and spinach.

For dessert, pups can indulge in decadent goodies such as the Le Puppacino or Pup de Chocolat - a post-feast reward any pooch will drool over.

This city centre venue is actually named after the owner's dog, with a sculpture of the adorable namesake on the roof, so it's unlikely that you'll find a more dog-oriented venue than Los Mochis. Found above Broadgate Circle with amazing views of St Paul's Cathedral and beyond, this stylish space is filled with plants and tropical decor - reflecting their Mexican-Japanese menu. Think crispy California tostaditos, guacamole crab, chipotle miso soup and so much more on the extensive list, with killer cocktails to wash it all down.

If you're looking for a pawsome time with your furry friend, head over to bright and airy The Harwood Arms in Fulham. With a pup-loving staff, tasty dog treats, and a chill vibe, your pooch will feel right at home. As for humans, scour the menu for goodies of all kinds, but make sure to try the blade of aged English beef with baked beetroot and smoked bone marrow, followed by the droolworthy poached pear and almond cake with clotted cream ice cream.

Curl up with your pup on the ground floor of The Duck and Rice, where you'll be welcomed with water, treats and plenty of special care. A pub-cum-Chinese eatery, this dog-friendly restaurant in Soho is incredibly trendy, found on Berwick Street slinging out Chinese comfort food and fabulous cocktails. From freshly steamed dim sum to Cantonese duck and rice (of course) and stir-fried salmon, there's plenty to whet your appetite.

Located on Regent's Canal in King's Cross, The Lighterman is a modern place to eat and drink with your favourite four-legged friend at your heel. After a scenic stroll along the water, grab a seat at this dog-friendly restaurant in North London (either on one of its three unique floors or the wrap-around terrace) to dig into a contemporary British menu. Expect dishes made with fresh, seasonal produce from local farmers, such as pea and broad bean risotto, sea trout with butter sauce and a juicy chicken schnitzel.

Out of all the dog-friendly restaurants in Shoreditch, Music & Beans is one of our favourites. Grab a seat in the laid-back, airy space or outside in the summer months to feast on plates of chorizo hash or chicken Milanese – you can even nab a two-course lunch for just £17.50.

Fine dining with your dog? That's completely possible at Sketch. Hunker down at this dog-friendly restaurant in Mayfair, as The Parlour welcomes four-legged friends during the day (they just need to be small and well-behaved). The bar, restaurant and café is a fancy go-to spot for breakfast and lunch, with options like tempura eggs with avocado puree, truffle gnocchi and coronation quiche bringing in hungry punters from far and wide.

A Southwark institution, having opened in 2005, The Table Café is famed for its delicious all-day brunch dishes, including its full English breakfasts, sweet or savoury pancakes, breakfast bruschetta and a whole range of Benedicts. It doesn't stop there though, as there's also a range of burgers, salads and desserts to keep you filled up too. Even better, dogs are welcome to join you in both the stylish café or on the alfresco patio.

Straits Kitchen is the stunning South East Asian restaurant inside City of London hotel Pan Pacific. Make your way to this dog-friendly restaurant in London and you'll be treated to gorgeous interiors, from the comfortable banquettes to the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the city. As for food? You'll find everything from breakfast and lunch to full-blown dinners, with options like dim sum, scallops, soft shell crab and so much more flying out of the kitchen.

After a glorious walk along the river and through the lanes of Richmond, you'll want to tuck into some hearty fare and let your pooch rest. Gaucho's waterfront restaurant is a dog-friendly place to eat, whether you settle into the elegant dining room or on the waterside terrace. Sink your teeth into succulent cuts of Argentinian beef, with a range of steak cuts up for grabs, not to mention ceviche, salmon tartare tacos and empanadas.

Fusing Australian cool with South American charm, Abuelo is a dog-friendly restaurant in Covent garden that needs to be on your radar. The relaxed restaurant doubles as a coffee house, offering a chilled-out space within a Grade II-listed building to enjoy brunches, sandwiches and contemporary brews. Think nduja and butterbean stew, truffle mushroom toasties and kimchi sandwiches.

Though a motorcyclists' club, with an onsite store and event space, The Bike Shed is also home to a brilliant hidden gem – its dog-friendly café in London. The trendy Shoreditch spot of course showcases some seriously hot wheels alongside cosy Chesterfield sofas, stripped-back brick walls and sun-soaked patio seating. It's the perfect place to grab a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner or Sunday roast, with mouthwatering bites like baby back ribs, blue cheese burgers and beetroot falafel on the cards.
