Hidden beneath the Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars, Leaf & Cane is a Latin American-inspired bar with a seriously cool backstory. It's set inside nine historic vaulted 'cells' that once belonged to a women's prison. These days, though, the only thing getting locked up here is your stress after a long day.

The bar has just launched a lively new events calendar, turning its moody underground space into one of the City's buzziest hangouts.
