Take a trip to this renowned steakhouse on Mother's Day. Located in the Grade II-listed India Building and donning decor inspired by the 1920s (think brass-trimmed ceiling lights, antique lamps and reflective inserts on the walls), this restaurant is always putting its best foot forward, and on Sunday the 15th of March, it's no exception. Come for lunch and sling back oysters or roasted scallops, or opt for their iconic Sunday roast featuring roasted bone marrow and onions, plus their house stuffing.

Famed for its Argentinian steaks and found on the ground floor of a gorgeous Grade II-listed building on Water Street, Gaucho is the ideal restaurant to dine at on Mother's Day if you're looking to wow her. Upon entry, expect to be met with extravagance thanks to its large, towering marble pillars and golden lights. Make your way through to the dining room and prepare to devour the likes of their iconic bottomless roasts (think unlimited Yorkshire puddings, yes please), or opt for a flakey whole-grilled sea bass, accompanied by your choice of side.
